That’s no idle boast. STEP BY BLOODY STEP is going to entrance any fan of Saga or Isola; anyone who loves Moebius and boundless sci-fi or fantasy; anyone who believes comics can be entertaining, heartwarming and badass… whilst also being true works of art.

This is the book you give folks when you need to prove there’s magic in comics. It’s a story about a scared little girl and an ultraviolent giant, plus a looot of monsters—yet it’s composed as a symphony for the eye. It is, in a word, spellbinding.

There is no dialogue in this book. But SBBS isn’t some pretentious experiment. It drips with plot, character and intrigue. We wanted to pop the hood on sequential narrative and show off what our miraculous medium can do. A text-free world absorbs the reader.
